Thankfully the reporter only asked him generic questions, how was he doing after the injury, did he feel it would impact his next games, did he feel he could overcome this initial lurch in his stats. She asked a few questions about Mandy but Roger shut her down before she got too personal, and after a few minutes of talking he headed back to find Mandy. Will and Penny had already moved away to dance, and Mandy wasn't where they'd been standing earlier. Roger wandered around and found another drink, then moved back towards the loo, finally finding Mandy sitting on a sofa holding someone else's kid.
He smiled and crossed over to her. "How'd you end up with Snitch baby?" The baby wiggled and stretched his little arms out, and Roger picked him up out of Mandy's arms. "Hey Snitch baby," Roger said, tilting the baby from side to side while it laughed. "You should have been a Quaffle, but I bet that's your mum's fault. Tell her next year, though. Quaffle. And also, Pride. You need to be a Pride Quaffle."
He cradled the baby up against his chest, then frowned at the look on Mandy's face. "You alright?" Obviously, she wasn't. "We can go, Mandy. I've been seen and everything. We can go if you want to go."
