Who: Harry and Angelina Where: Angelina's place When: Friday What: Some catching up an some venting. Rating/Status: PG-13 for language | In Progress
Harry rubbed at the back of his head as he glanced at the door to Angelina's flat. He didn't really know why he was here; well, he did, but that didn't stop the fact that it seemed slightly unusual. With Ron and Hermione so busy with everything at the Burrow, and their own lives, it was hard to find time to be able to talk to them. Neville had taken some trip to find some rare plant life and so there was no turning to the usual crew, and frankly Harry was glad for it. He loved them all, but he already knew what they'd say, how they'd say it, and that was brilliant and all; it just, well it didn't add any new perspective to the world.
Fact was, he wasn't the only one suffering and Ron needed to concentrate on his mother and family. He had Hermione to turn to, who in turn had Ron to turn to. Hermione, she was brilliant and was the new mother in her own right; so, Harry decided that maybe he should speak to someone he didn't usually open up to. Angelina Johnson was a friend, and someone he trusted a great deal. While he realized he rarely ever talked to her outside of something about Quidditch or that, he figured it had to do with their separate kind of lives and catching up with people outside of Hogwarts could be difficult.
She was probably hurting to, with Katie and Oliver having gone through the same hell as Ginny, and frankly Harry figured that he could use the bit of distraction. He felt guilty, horribly guilty, that he wasn't at the Burrow near Ginny at the moment, but it was obvious that Ginny needed time to herself, and with her mother, more than anything. She'd asked Harry to be her friend, and he planned on doing everything in his power to do just that--whether it was being by her side, or giving her the space she wanted. They both knew if she needed him, all she had to do was activate a coin, patronus him, or send him an owl, and he'd be there instantly. Still he felt the slightest bit guilty, but even Harry was beginning to grow up and realized he needed to talk about things sometimes.
He wanted to know how Katie and Oliver were doing too, and he also wanted to know how those who cared for them were doing too. He knew all too well how difficult it was for the loved ones too, and so as he approached her door he wasn't feeling ashamed like he might have in the past. It would be good to catch up, to talk things through, to rekindle friendships. With the way the world was turning, you couldn't have too many friends.
He approached, and knocked lightly. Dressed in a long black coat, over a pair of jeans and black boots. His shirt beneath was a cotton, black t-shirt that sunk into him comfortably. Still, none of it seemed to keep him all that warm, and he bounced on his feet a moment to keep himself warm. He was surprised how cold the night was.
