"I say just quit! Seriously. It isn't worth it there." She still had all these fantastic ideas in her head about things she wanted to do, stores of her own that she wanted to open, but that she hadn't told Parvati. Marcus and Roger knew and both of them had all but laughed at her, and while she knew her friend would be more then excited at her ideas, Lavender was starting to see how silly she could be sometimes, especially when she let her ideas get away with her. Still, now seemed like a good time, especially with her out of the office for good now. Even if they invited her back, she wouldn't go.
"We are so much better then Witch Weekly, stupid gossip magazine." They weren't. They so weren't. Lavender had loved that job. Being an editor was what she wanted to do! "My mum said she would help me out if I wanted to start my own business..." She was just putting it out there, though she had all the details worked out in her mind.
"It's always Roger. I wish you would stop flirting with him." Lavender knew Parvati well enough to know it was a silly request, but still. It always managed to upset her a little. "And her kids are gorgeous! Brats, but beautiful!" She'd always been a kid person.
