Who: Lavender and Parvati What: Lavender needs out of the house! When: Sunday evening Where: Diagon Alley Rating / Status: TBD | Open
Lavender had spent a good majority of the morning working in Penny's shop, just trying to pass some time. It had taken her mind off of her spectacularly screwed up life for a few hours, but now even mindless manual labor just wasn't cutting it. How had her life gotten so screwed up? Her teenaged self would be appalled at all of this, though highly interested in the stories in the papers for sure. This just wasn't how she'd wanted her life to turn out. Alone, unable to forgive and forget, despite how much she wanted to, and just plain miserable half of the time. This wasn't what she wanted and she just wasn't in the place right now to make it better. She didn't know how to either.
Saying her goodbyes, Lavender left Once Told Tales and headed back up to her flat above the shop, thankful that Penny would take pity on her and let her waste some time in a helpful manner if the need arose. It was nice to have even that, especially since she'd lost her job. Quickly changing into something a little more acceptable, a pair of skinny jeans, flats and a tunic, Lavender floo'd to the Leaky Cauldron. When she stepped out of the fireplace, it was with a little bit of soot and her feet stumbling over the other. She hated apparating and she hated portkeys and even flooing had it's downsides.
Heading over to the counter, Lavender ordered a beer and a light meal, with the intention of heading out somewhere else soon enough. Maybe the muggle world to get drunk, perhaps to shop for a new pair of winter boots, it all depended really on how the next few minutes went.
