Katie smiled as he pulled her against him, loving the feel of his arms around her. She was half sprawled on his chest, one arm thrown across it as she relaxed against him. If she could just stay right here, forever, she'd be more than content. It was perfect and lovely and she never thought to have anything like this. His fingers idly stroked her hair and she snuggled closer. "I'm sure the Howlers will come pouring in," she murmured, softly. "For both of us." She shook her head. "I can only imagine what the headlines will say." They weren't exactly public or official or anything and the columns were always speculating but Katie had a lot of male friends and spent a lot of time with them, as well. So, she was always made out to be dating someone. It didn't normally bother her but she didn't want anything like that to ruin her and Marcus. Course, he was speculated on more than her and with their... whatever it was they were doing, it looked like they'd both be all over the papers for a bit.
"Just another thing to add to the list of reasons why this will never work," she said, somewhat amused. It was a really, really long list. If two people were more different, she'd yet to encounter them. Marcus was a Slytherin, Captain of Falmouth, probably was on the other side of the war (though, she didn't like to think about that), very much a public icon, more experienced then her and so much more. Katie was a Gryffindor, Captain of Puddlemere, war hero etc. It was definitely going to be a rocky romance.
She traced patterns on his chest, feeling relaxed and content to just be in his arms. Even her cramps seemed less painful when she was with him. Well, perhaps it was because she had less to think about. She was rather shocked she'd even gotten a period what with her ridiculous weight loss. Still, the idea that he was aware they were dating and that he loved her had her feeling ridiculously guilty. "Dating huh?" she said, unable to help the silly grin that stretched over her features. "I suppose I'm dating you..." she teased.
