He shouldn't be spending so much time with her and he definitely shouldn't be kissing her. Whether he liked to think about it or not, he was working. She was part of the job ... it didn't really matter if he liked spending time with her or that he liked the way her lips felt against his. That would end the moment he told her he'd been lying to her, anyway, but even that didn't cause him to pull away.
He let her pull away, shifting until she was comfortable. The entire time his eyes were on her lips, waiting for her to sit still again. He was long beyond the point of caring whether or not they were bad for each other. Until she told him not to, he was going to keep snogging her. As though proving his point, he leaned forward to kiss her again, his tongue trailing over her bottom lip, asking her to deepen the kiss.
