Eloise was frustrated. Her owl hadn't returned since it had flown off to Jack Sloper's place and he'd fed it bacon. Abominable. Frowning, staring at the mountain of letters she needed to send, Elle stood up, stuffed a couple important ones in her pocket and headed to the door. She would just go over there. Of course, she wasn't sure where she was going. That was a problem. Someone had to know where he lived. She really wanted her owl back. How was she supposed to answer her fan letters... Well, they weren't so much fans as listeners who wanted to do dedications. Anyway, how was she supposed to talk to them if her owl had abandoned her for bacon? Sighing, Elle flopped back down on her sofa. She didn't want to go to work tonight. Her show was just... depressing. Nobody listened and she was tired of playing love songs. Well, she didn't have much of a choice. Staring at the floor for another ten minutes, Eloise stood back up and headed out the door. For good this time.
Merlin was in loads of trouble. She hated feeding him mice and moles and the like so she usually just let him go do his own hunting. Being a vegetarian with a penchant for carnivorous animals was troubling. Why, the other day she had an urge for meat and she hadn't had that in years. Instead, she ate a salad. Walking down the street, she glanced around the small wizarding community she lived in. It was nice and comfy and her studio was right around the corner from the shoppes. It was a much smaller version of Diagon and she had actually been considering making the move to Hogsmeade. She much preferred the weather there. It was cooler and she loved Scotland.
Plus, Hannah worked at the Leaky and it was always nice to be around her friend. She could maybe do a locator spell to find her owl... that might work. Closing her eyes, since she wasn't very adept at this sort of magic, Eloise concentrated very hard before casting. It took her a moment but she got a read. Newcastle? Well, that was a change of pace from London. Quickly disapperating, she appeared in the only wizard section she knew of before trying to hone in just a bit more. Finally, after ten minutes of standing there like an idiot, Eloise was on her way and soon knocking on Jack Sloper's door. Merlin. He'd probably think she was a stalker. Her mouth formed a small O. It was Friday... he might have a girl over. Well, that'd be embarrassing.
