He set the lingerie magazine down on his chest as he turned all of his attention to Astoria on the ground next to him. He was a bit surprised that she owned an issue of Quidditch Quartly. Well, maybe not. Most girls got the magazine just to look at the players. But he was surprised that she'd actually read one of the articles about the upcoming season. It really didn't seem like something she'd be all the interested in. Then again, what did he really know about her interests?
He couldn't help but laugh when she mentioned the 'encroaching threat of Puddelmere United'. Sure, they'd done surprisingly well this last season but he still didn't really think they'd be too much of a threat in the new one. "Unless Bell gets better, I don't see her being much of an asset to Puddlemere in the new season. And she's the best they've got so...without her, I don't really see them being much of a threat next season," he commented, completely amused by the thought. And even if Katie was well enough to play in the new season, the Falcons had won against them before and they'd do it again.
He was a bit annoyed, however, at the talk about the Beaters. He had been putting effort into swapping one of his Beaters out but he hadn't thought that it was public news yet. Oh well. He'd much rather them speculate about the Beaters than one of the other handfuls of things they could be writing about. "Well, baby Greengrass. I'm sure you don't really give a fucking shite about Quidditch talk so if we're done discussing wedding crap for the time being, I think I'm going to head out. I'm sure there're damsels in distress out there that need my help right now. Like Adrian."
