Who: Astoria and Marcus When: Monday Evening Where: Astoria's Place What: Discussing Wedding Stuff Rating: Language? IDK.
Astoria was pleased she could steal some of Marcus time. If she was honest, he could probably use a bit of a distraction from the drama pot that happened to be his life. She was quite glad that her life was relatively free of drama, the wedding being the one black spot. Still, Daphne had deluded herself into thinking she was lucky to be taking the Warrington name so that left Astoria to at least make sure she got what she wanted. It was right pain in the arse, too. With only two weeks to go, there was a lot of things still left to do and she didn't entirely trust Mrs. Warrington or Pansy. Neither one of them really had the Daphne image at the forefront of their minds when planning this thing. It was more of "social highlight of the year".
Dropping her keys on the table, Astoria glanced around. She should probably tidy up a little bit ... not that the place was dirty. It was just .... lived in. In her defense the shirt that was draped over the back of the armchair and the bra on the doorknob were both clean. She just hadn't gotten around to putting them away as of yet. Did she feel like doing it right then? Absolutely not. What she felt like was grabbing a bottle of water and going over those dress ideas again. Merlin knew it was going to be difficult enough to get it done in time without waiting until the last week of preparations.
Stopping off into the kitchen, she grabbed the aforementioned bottle of water and plopped herself down in front of the coffee table where roughly a dozen magazines were scattered in a semi-neat, semi-circle around her. She wasn't worried so much about the colour. A good charm could fix that in a moment. She was worried about the cut and material. It was a good half an hour of sinking into the magazines before she heard the knock on her door. "Come in," she called, somewhat distracted by a red monstrosity of a dress.
