Lavender nodded and pointed to her bag, which was sitting and ready by the door. She's just finished packing up her last minute things, like toothbrush, hairbrush, and other necessary things that she had needed the last few days. "Is it wrong of me to be really excited for this?" Despite whatever may or may not happen over the next few days, a vacation was still a vacation, and there would be plenty of room and things to see if she and Roger couldn't get along.

She fell into his arms, pressing her cheek against his chest and sighing deeply. Merlin, he was warm and fantastic and she didn't deserve him. And he apparently knew that. But he was still there, he had actually called his trip over early to come back and be with her, and that warmed her heart.
