In comparison to what was going on with Daphne, his life was pretty simple. He didn't have to worry about marriages (at least for the moment) or anything of the sort. Being the head of the family had it's perks, definitely. His Mother could drop hints about continuing the family name and what not, but that really was all she could do. He'd ultimately be the one who made the decision on when and who he would marry.
"Well, that's definitely a good sign," usually when she was made she made sure you knew it. If Daphne had to actually think about it, things couldn't be that bad. He did, however, raise an eyebrow when she asked whether or not he'd spoken with her. "Not in a couple of weeks, no." In all honesty, he hadn't talked to her since he'd spoke with her about Emma and that had been back before the War anniversary. He normally tended to steer clear of those events. "Why?"
It was really none of his business, but he was curious. The worst she would say was that it was nothing and move on. He had a certain like for the Greengrass girls, their craziness included. He doubted that was going to make Clint any happier about the situation, but he was done worrying about it.
