Geoff had known Ali and Katie since they'd been sorted. He had a year on Ali and two on Bell but he knew them well. Very well. The Gryffindor house had always been close and Ange, Ali, Katie, Fred, George, Ken, Lee, Drew, Geoff and Wood had all hung out together a lot. They had a lot in common and had all enjoyed Quidditch and a good prank or two. Katie had been like the little sister to all of them. Especially as the youngest of the group, they'd all treated her like a sister and she'd grown up with, essentially, a load of over-protective brothers and sisters. Course, Ange and Ali could lay out any bloke who looked at her wrong and he was pretty sure they had but Bell was smart. Clearly, not smart enough if she was getting involved with Marcus Flint. Raising a brow, finishing off his beer, he watched them just stare at one another. It was weird and it was fucking making him uncomfortable. In fact, he kind of just wanted to leave... What the fuck was going on between them. He'd heard the rumors that they'd been hanging out but didn't really believe they'd shagged.
Or did he? Glancing between them, Geoff's eyes narrowed and he tried to hold back the grin that was forming. Fucking hell. What a weird situation. Strictly for her? "Doesn't look like you came for her at all," he said, a hint of amusement lacing his tone. "Would you like me to go get her. She looks a bit startled to see you here." Geoff grabbed another beer and popped it open. "I would warn you off, you know," he said, casually, leaning against the railing. "As would every other male here and probably Alicia and Angelina but looks like it's a little late for that."
