WHO: Lavender Brown and Marcus Flint WHAT: Marcus is bored WHERE: Lavender's place WHEN: Wednesday, 4 May. Late Afternoon/Early Evening RATING: tbd STATUS: In Progress
Marcus had been feeling a little guilty since the last time he'd spoken to Lavender. He'd been a dick to her on what was probably a hard day but still, it wasn't like that wasn't a normal occurrence for him. It's what he did. But for some reason he'd started feeling bad for it and really, he blamed Katie. It wasn't like she had pointed out anything that he hadn't known but maybe it was the fact that she disapproved of what he'd said or something. He didn't even know, really. And he'd spent the last few days trying not to feel bad. He'd also been trying to not feel bad about hurting Katie's feelings or whatever the fuck he'd done by going to the Charity thing with Lavender, but that wasn't going all that well either.
Practice was over and he was showered and bored and he really didn't want to go home just yet. Clint was probably out dealing with family and Greengrass drama and Adrian, as far as he knew, he was still on the outs with. Maybe he should just apologize to one of the girls or something. He thought about going to Katie's place but then realized that really, that would just be such a bloody headache. Everything with her lately had been all drama and serious and he couldn't seem to get anything right. Maybe he'd bother with her later. Plus, she had that new lame ass roommate AND she was going over to other bloke's houses and he didn't really want to say something ridiculously jealous sounding in front of her. And he didn't even want to acknowledge the fact that he knew some of the people she'd been hanging out with lately because it just made him seem like he stalked her via journal or something. Which he didn't. Her handwriting was just ugly and impossible to miss.
So Katie could wait for another day. Or two. Or a week. Or maybe just until he got over what little obsession he had going on with her. Because it was annoying and he was sick of it. She was too much drama and they hadn't even slept together. Lavender, on the other hand, had the potential to be a headache too, but things with her were generally much simpler. He had honestly enjoyed taking her to the Ministry Charity Gala Dance Whatever-the-fuck and while he wasn't sure he was that thrilled with the thought of actually dating anyone, he wouldn't mind spending a little more time with her. And so he'd made his way to her place. He knocked on the door and waited, wondering if she was even there. He didn't usually just drop in on people like this and he was sure she had a life outside of waiting around for Marcus Flint. Maybe he should just spend the night by himself at home. This was getting stressful.
