He couldn't say he really knew what he was doing. What he did know, however, was that there were several reasons why he shouldn't be doing what he was doing. A) she was much younger than him. B) She was Astoria's best friend ... even though he and Astoria had nothing going on anymore, it was still a little weird. C) She wasn't a pureblood ... granted, that really wasn't all that big of a deal now that his Father was dead. D) His friends would certainly not approve ... though Marcus, for one, couldn't really say anything. He'd taken it upon himself to shag the entire Gryffindor tower. And ... well, that was all he could think of at the moment. He was sure there was more, but why bother adding them to the list. He was ignoring the ones he had as it is.
She was completely opposite to his normal sort of girl. Maybe that's what intrigued him so much. That she was different. The good sort of different, not odd ... well, she was a little odd, but that was surprisingly a plus ... as he'd said ... he really didn't know what he was doing. He liked spending time with her, but that certainly didn't tell him what it was he was looking for. Of course, him showing up outside her door wasn't giving him much answers either.
Slightly frustrated with himself, Adrian reached out and knocked on the door, hoping she was home from work. She'd mentioned that she worked in the Ministry the other night at the Gala, but he couldn't remember which part. Whatever it was, he was hoping she'd be home by now. The standard work day ended about forty minutes ago.
