He couldn't help but smirk when she turned her head so that his lips were almost brushing hers. Between that little action, the very intentional brush of her hand, and that bloody smile she gave him, it was almost hard to believe he'd thought she seemed sweet and innocent just a few moments before. This girl's looks were deceiving as all hell and he loved it. He somehow doubted the other Bell sister was nearly as fun underneath her goody-goody exterior. Katie Bell seemed every bit as innocent and boring as she looked.
Marcus felt bad, but he barely noticed Clint's exit from the conversation as he studied little Sarah Bell in front of him. He'd feel bad about ignoring his friend later. It wasn't like Clint hadn't been perfectly aware of Marcus's intentions with the not-awful Bell sister. "There are worse places to be," he responded with a somewhat lazy shrug when she mentioned Clint leaving her alone with him. He took another drink from his glass as Sarah continued talking. At her last statement, he leaned in closer to her, perhaps a bit too close for people having just met. "Whatever the hell you want to," he said in response with an arrogant smirk.
