"That doesn't sound too bad though. I mean, minus having to read terrible manuscripts. I bet writing rejection letters could be fun," he said with a small smile. She seemed to be warming up to him a bit.
"Too good? How am I too good?" Ken was curious as to what she thought. When she described herself as being exactly like that, Ken really couldn't help but laugh. "At least you're honest?" He was surprised when she grabbed his hand but he didn't resist.
"That we can do," he said. He took the lead, walking them through the group of people to the other side of the room where there was an unoccupied couch.
