Ria had been discreetly watching those two since they'd made their way out onto the dance floor. She'd been a bit surprised at that, unaware that Emma even knew how to dance. She couldn't tell if that was a good thing or a bad. She had to chuckle to herself, however, as she watched them. Adrian was his normal charming self and it was clear he was at least making a little progress with her friend.
When Adrian left, Astoria moved in, taking the spot at the table beside her. "You look lovely," she responded, offering the other girl a playful smirk. "Did you get all dressed up for the Gala or for Adrian?" she asked, her tone teasing. Emma really did look good. It'd been a while since she'd dressed up like this and it was nice to see some of the colour back in her.
