She blushed under his obvious flirting and looked down, watching her dress flow around her ankles as they swayed to the music. A camera went off from the side, and she frowned, realizing that the press would be rather unbearable for a while. Still, she doubted anyone would believe any of the idiotic things that would be printed. She didn't think he'd pay much attention to it. Of course, if people began to dig into her background... She didn't particularly want her life story splashed across the Prophet but, as she wanted to enter politics, perhaps it was better to get the skeletons out now.
"Lovely," she said, brushing her hair off her shoulders before linking her fingers together in front of her. "Thank you for the dance. I'm glad I didn't destroy your feet in the process." She felt as though she'd fared pretty well and she didn't feel like panicking. That was a good sign.
She wasn't sure why but she liked that he seemed to find her appealing. Was this what Astoria had meant about him being charming? She gave him a small smile over her shoulder as she headed towards the table he'd reserved.
