The one thing? Marcus hated it when girls got down on themselves. Mostly because he sucked at being nice and helping them feel better about themselves. But he also hated it because usually it was for no good reason at all and it annoyed him that people in general weren't more confident in themselves. "You're good at a lot more than that," he said sincerely. Sure, it worked well as a sexual innuendo. But it worked well in general, too. Lavender was just an all around good person. "Don't let someone like Parkinson get you down. She's not worth your time," he said with a small shrug.
He fucking hated girl drama. He hated drama in general really, which made his life all the more frustrating considering he was constantly involved with some sort of shite whether he wanted to be or not. He just didn't understand that point of any of it.
Marcus smirked at her words. "I love it when you make threats against other people. Such a bloody turn on," he said playfully as he pulled her closer against him. He leaned down and nipped playfully at her neck. "And if after the maiming you still have some aggression you need to work out, I've got a few ideas of my own."
