Who: Drew, Geoff, and Mandy Where: Mandy's Apartment When: Friday Night What: A much needed discussion Rating: Low - Mostly Language
Drew hadn't spoken to Mandy since he'd taken her home the other night. He hadn't been expecting her to find out about who he really was so soon and particularly not the way she had. He felt like he was a good two inches tall. He could only guess at what sort of thoughts were going through her mind. She'd been worried that he would think of her poorly, but what must she think of him. It had been a rough couple nights, that was for sure, what with work piling onto his worry about Mandy. Needless to say, he hadn't gotten much sleep and what he did get was anything but peaceful.
He was slightly nervous about this meeting. It could go either way. He wasn't even sure how Mandy was going to act around him. He'd give anything for nothing to change, but that was a shot in the dark and he didn't thinking holding his breath for it was going to help. As for Geoff, the bloke was already suspicious of Mandy so Drew didn't think he was going to be all that cuddly. He'd thrown some clothes on and left a little early, hoping to get there before Geoff. He figured she might be a little more comfortable with having him there when Geoff arrived.
When he arrived outside of her door, he was relieved to feel his wards still in place. Despite everything she trusted him enough to leave them there. He could at least rest a little easier knowing that Smythwick wouldn't be able to barge in, looking for her. Reaching out, he knocked on the door and waited for her to answer.
