The day's looting trip had taken Cutter pretty far away and since Grand Central was on the way back he figured he'd stop by for a little break. Sometimes he just sat around and watched people, or traded in some of the things he had found. The guards here were extremely annoying, but by now he had figured out who would let him pass without being a pain and who wouldn't. Seemed like today had been a lucky day for him then.
He had followed someone he thought he knew up to the second floor, but as so often it had been his mind just playing a trick on him. It did that frequently lately.
On his way back he heard what were clearly the sounds of a fight. He vowed to stay out of it, but decided to at least get a good look. He had leveled a guard for talking smack about Addie this week already, he was good. Or at least he thought he was - he'd never pass the chance to have a good fight. Or even a semi-good one. He really did miss that ad he should probably look for a sparring partner once they were at Sing Sing. Until then... he would just have to keep his composure.
Any thoughts about composure were gone when he saw the two fighters - and one of them was a woman. Who just got hit right in the face by a guy that was at least twice her size when it came to muscle mass alone. With a growl Cutter dropped his bag right where he was and walked over, circling the two until he could cut in right between them - just in time to stop another blow, using the still bandaged left hand.
"Looks like your mama never taught you shit 'bout treatin' women." he growled before taking a swing with his right arm, placing his fist right on the other man's nose, shattering the fragile bone in the process. "Might've heard 'bout your buddy at the library. If ya don't want that to happen to you, better step back now." Because he really didn't feel like holding himself back and he doubted that anyone would interfere like they had at the library. The guard glared at him, but seemed to decide that his injuries were bad enough as it was. Muttering a few more curses under his breath the guy retreated and Cutter waited until he was out of sight before he turned around to the woman. "You okay?"
