WHO: Sia and OPEN WHAT: Drawing on everything because she can WHERE: A somewhat quiet corner in Grand Central WHEN: April 10th, 2019, early afternoon RATING: Low
It was becoming increasingly difficult to find anything to keep her distracted, to keep the boredom at bay. There was only so much reading she could do, only so much socializing. And yet the days seemed to pass in a blur, often she found herself confused when she realized that an entire week had passed without her noticing. It had to be the lack of routine that had her confuse days, there were no weekdays filled with studying, no weekends with parties and gigs and everything in between. No phone calls home, no endless talks with her family.
Then there were those strange people talking to her as if they knew her. Sia was a social butterfly and she loved new people. But there was a thin line between being outgoing and being crazy and those people seemed to be tethering dangerously close to the latter, insisting on knowing her even though she clearly didn't. As if she couldn't remember talking to people! It had happened in Detroit, too, but she chose to ignore it.
Instead she had grabbed a few magic markers and was currently busy drawing intricate flower patterns on her jeans. Her sneakers had already been decorated with stars and all kinds of other symbols, and the table had gotten it's fair share of embellishments. It really was a nice distraction, especially now that she felt that headache coming again. It usually meant she would be out for a few days, hiding under her blankets with weird dreams. Still better than being dead, she figured.
From time to time she looked up as she hard someone walk by, looking them over warily to see if there was yet another person trying to mess with her mind. Maybe it was a thing here, maybe they picked a target every month to fool around with. Sia snorted, well, if that wasn't paranoid.
