"How mature of you," she muttered when she caught him making a face at her. She didn't really mind though, it was sort of comical and brought a smile to her face. Not that she'd really stopped smiling for any length of time since they met up. She probably looked like some freakish barbie despite them being genuine. It was just one of those things she couldn't help, Luke made her happy and really that's all that really mattered. What was the point in naming someone your best friend if they always made you feel down.
"I think you're sort of biased."
Laughter bubbling up as she joined him by the wall. "You haven't had enough of being within six inches of me?"
It was nice to think that he wanted to be near her though. It hadn't really crossed her mind to put any sort of significant amount of space between them. The same scant amount of space between them as when they'd been dancing. It was warmer with the wall to break the wind, not a lot warmer but it was better.
She shuffled closer. If they stuck close together they might be able to put up a little resistance to the cold.
