She wanted him to have it? Really. Where did Eloise keep getting all of the wine? Rodeo probably got her the hookup down at the bar. "I'll have some in a little bit. I promise," he wished that he had a cork. Or one of those fancy wine stoppers to put in the bottle so that he could tuck it away in his bag. For now. Alas.
"Like I said, I don't think I knew much of anything that night. Day? Evening," he settled on, and nodded, "and I don't really remember the half of it. I wish I did. You keep telling me all of these things that I said, I feel bad I don't remember any of it. But it's things that I'd say? So," he shrugged. They had to be true. Not that he didn't believe her for even a minute.
"You gotta.. you know... Be quieter up on the roof. We don't want to draw any attention to the building," he reminded her, as if she didn't know. "So if we listen to it, it will have to be very low." He nodded, "I'm glad you're giving it a shot. You don't have to like it, though." Everyone liked something different, really.
"You going to fall asleep, now?" A small, crooked smile tugged at the corner of his lips. Because he knew how that was. When he drank a lot, he usually fell asleep. But Eloise probably knew that by now.
And no, O'Brien didn't smoke. He'd tried it a time or two in high school, and it definitely wasn't his thing. He had practically choked himself on smoke. "Wine and chocolate, huh?" He eyed Eloise, "keep your chocolate, Ellie. I'll be alright." He did like chocolate, though. He was a sort of chocoholic.
His brows went up in surprise at her command-- and then when she started singing 'Good Golly Miss Molly', well, he was really surprised. But a little amused too. Actually. He couldn't help but smile at the image of drunken Ellie singing. "That.." He nodded, reaching over to bring his arm around her enough to corral her and help her continue up the stairs, "is a good song to know. And you have a lovely voice," He looked over at her with an amused grin. "Watch your step." He nodded down toward the stairs.
She was kind of stumbling over her own feet, and she didn't need that.
