O'Brien worried his bottom lip with his teeth as his attention moved from Eloise to the bottle in question. After a moment of thought, he reached over to pick it up and move it out of the way and out of Ellie's reach. Yeah. She was definitely done for the night. "I might have some in a minute."
For the most part, O'Brien knew his limit, but often found himself pushing it.
After checking back on Eloise, leaning back in the chair, a moment, his eyes went back to the coloring book so that he could finish. "He seems it." Another look to her, "so you were in high school when the outbreak hit?"
O'Brien remembered Eloise mentioning Evan before.. and he thought that maybe things were going okay for the two of them? Apparently he was wrong? "Doesn't really seem fair," his eyes went back to the robo-jet pony, as he thought quietly to himself a brief moment. Not really being together, just friends, giving a chance.
Wait. Frenchie liked someone else? And that was why he ditched Ellie? His attention settled back over on Eloise. She wasn't sad? Not even a little? Who the fuck did Frenchie like, if it wasn't Ellie?
He looked back down at the coloring book again; To be honest, there was only one person that came to mind-- and he refused to believe it. Or think about it. He'd been jealous of Frenchie before, and Leah told him he had no reason to be. It was a silly idea.
"I don't know," He continued filling in the grey robot pieces on the pony in the coloring book. He wasn't entirely sure that he wanted to know. Especially if it was who he was thinking.
