Candy had never been really appealing to Cutter, unless chocolate pudding counted and with that it was more about than the creative things one could do with it than the taste. But he had to admit that this store was pretty impressive. He wouldn't chance trying the chocolate, it looked pretty weird, but all the other candy on display looked just fine to him. He had seen the bags Addie had brought and chosen not to say anything. She had been crazy about anything containing more sugar than anyone would think was healthy and it seemed like that hadn't changed over the years. Lifting a backpack he had taken off hr he began to fill it with different flavors of those weird jawbreakers, he really had no idea what Charlie wanted he assumed that variety was best. When he was done he looked around and spotted some lollipops with... something in them. When he came closer he realized that those were insects. "Fuckin' people are fuckin' crazy." he muttered and grabbed a few without inlay, he'd always liked sour apple so why not.
Turning around to Addie he shrugged. "Know a lot 'bout carin', less 'bout trust and next to nothin' 'bout tellin' anyone anythin'." He had never been a great talker and liked to keep things to himself, including his problems. Even Rodeo didn't know everything, but he would be the one person he'd go to whenever he had anything he felt he had to share. So far he had kept most of what happened in the past years to himself, had only shared some of his story and refused to go into detail. It would take a while before he'd get everything out. "On the other hand you got people you can rely on and who'll do anythin' to help, ain't somethin' many people can say 'bout those close to them."
