BRODELAIDEO?!! Definitely that.
Adelaide gave him a sad little smile while he talked about being arraigned, leaning to the side a bit to press her cheek to the shoulder of his jacket just for a second. "It's weird to me that you got arraigned, and went to jail, and did all whatever you did to get to here, without me around. Is it weird to you the opposite way? That I did stuff and knew people that you'll never know? Kinda miss knowing we slept under the same roof almost for always." She'd only had a martini, but Adelaide's feelings were all bubbling so close to the surface lately, and kept so tightly wrapped, it didn't take much for sentimental blubber like that to come popping out, she thought.
Reaching out, she took hold of both shots of whiskey, pushed Rodeo's into his hand, and lightly clinked them together before taking hers down. It would probably only make her more bluesy and stupid, but at least she maybe wouldn't remember much of it if she kept on. "To The Four Horsemen," she decided, managing not to huff and puff after the shot. She'd been spectacularly drunk on just a handful of occasions, and otherwise generally played observer. Tonight did not seem to be an observer type of night. "My contribution to the continuation of society - a place for drunks."
"And your back's contribution, too," she added, giving the granite a fond pat. "I'll walk on your back for the next century if you want me to, Jims. It's really, really pretty. And really, really heavy," she said happily. There were people lined along her bar, drinking drinks from her glasses, in her place. The thought appealed to her in a number of ways, but just then she was just a little too pleased to stop and analyze them.
