Re: Rory / Open
O'Brien had arrived with his sister, and had already spent a fair amount of the evening with her by the time he managed to weasel away to wander back over to the bar to get another glass of whiskey. That's when he spotted Rory. His Brookyln adventure friend.
He took note of the scoff and smirked a bit before glancing back toward whoever it was that Adelaide had gotten to be the bartender to take up his refill. Glass in hand, he brought it up to his lips for a sip as he turned to start to further his way down the bar to where Rory was rolling her eyes at the intense game of darts.
"You think you could do better after," he looked over and motioned to the empty beer bottles on the bar, "what's that? 10 Budweisers?" He turned his attention back on the doctor, "what's up, Brookyln? Didn't expect to see you here." And yes, for the record, O'Brien had sported the bow tie, just as he had for New Year's. This time, however, he'd actually gone the extra mile and put the whole tux on. James Bond would have, and so would he.
But He still had his shoulder holster on underneath his jacket. Always. He was never without his guns. Ever.
