"Yeah. Figured it'd be a better souvenir than a fucking scar." Well, he managed to get some ink last time he'd been in the city, that was a better souvenir, too. But show-and-tell needed to wait, Cutter wasn't too keen on stripping down in the middle of the street with all those freaks around, no matter how excited he was. "The fuckin' odds? Let's say even I would have passed on that one and you know how I lose every goddamn bet."
Cutter had never been good at gambling, in spite of an asset many would be jealous of - a poker face so perfect it made professional poker players jealous. In fact he looked so blank most of the time that people found him scary. That usually only changed when he was around his friends and he had to get used to it again.
"The way you put it that doesn't sound too bad, but you know me. Trouble always fuckin' finds me." His face lit up as Rodeo mentioned Addie, Rodeo was his brother so she was sort of his little sister, too. "She's alive? That's great, man. Figures though, gotta be some sort of survival-gene." His brows furrowed as Rodeo mentioned that fiance of hers. Sounded fishy, but who was he to judge that after two minutes. He'd take another twenty minutes talking to Rodeo about it before he could decide on whether that guy really needed a visit or not. "Aw, I'm gone for a few years and she's engaged? Do I need to visit that creature that put a ring on her or will she be fine?"
