Sebastian took the water gratefully and smiled, only a bit. He took a few steady breaths before he near drank the water in one guzzle. "I think this calls for some names. I don't want to be that odd guy that you helped in finding a dog." A handshake was something not needed, he supposed. "My name is Sebastian. I am staying at the New York Public Library." He knew time was of the essence, but this man was kind and he just wanted to know a few things, feel more comfortable. "I don't travel much, which means I would be prone to getting lost. Do you wander?" He wanted to ask that huge question of rather he was immune or not. He didn't want to put the man's life in danger.
His gaze migrated towards where the man had pointed. "After you, I suppose. If you're more..prone to the zombies though, you can direct me and I can try to cover you." Yes, because he'd be so good at that. All he would do was swing blindly at a zombie and hope he'd penetrate the brain. Of course, he was trying not to make himself seem so useless.
He began to walk in stride with the stranger at first. He thought it better to at least be at the same pace compared to cowering behind him. The wind howled slightly and it added to the already eerie atmosphere. Dead cars, dead remains and few far off sounds of exploders bursting thanks to a sniper riffle.
