"Uh-- Ha," He shook his head some, reaching up to rub at his brow, "Not.. No. Not really. I mean.. I don't know." He looked between the two, "don't mention it, huh? Maybe, you know someday. But we're not. Not yet." But he'd like for her to be his 'girlfriend'. It was beyond obvious.
And it wasn't really a question in the sense that O'Brien didn't think that Alana and Luke wouldn't want to be with him. It was more of a question on whether or not they wanted to go with him back to Madison Square, or if they had another safe house, in mind, that they wanted to move to. O'Brien smile when Luke asked Alana if they were going; He glanced to his sister and tightened his arm around her, giving her a bit of a hug, "What about it, Punk? Can we stay at MSG?"
His smile softened when Alana said she wanted to thank Leah, and when she gave the scruff-- getting close enough to be called an actual beard, on his chin a tug and he shrugged. He tilted his head from side to side in consideration, "Yeah. Yeah, she's pretty kickass, if we're being completely honest." And yes. Leah had to put up with him and his occasional obnoxious self all the time, it seemed. But she was giving him a chance, and that was what mattered. "She very nearly broke my nose, once." He grinned just thinking about it.
Shaking his head with amusement, Brannon turned his attention back to Luke when Alana reached to give their nephew's shoulder a little squeeze. After a moment or two, he noticed Alana looking toward the door, and then glanced back toward it, himself. "Let me go see if Leah's still around. I'll tell her you both would like to meet her."
