Sebastian's eyes lit up for a moment. "Yes I do remember those books. They were quite the guilty pleasures to read while I was at the morgue." He didn't want to imply that her father's books would be used for nothing but guilty pleasures, so he cleared his throat and waved a hand in apology. "I'm not saying he couldn't draw anyone else. I liked the feel of the book and if I remember he was quite popular? I could be wrong though. I have a hard time tracking what books are popular unless a huge font is on the book saying it is a best seller. Must have been an inspiration to you, or do you like to study something else? I know my family wanted nothing to do with what I studied."
It was fine to be afraid of leaving the library. Sebastian had that problem for sure. He was terrified to stray too far from his sanctuary. He knew he would get eaten before one could say "watch out". He just didn't have it in him to fight. he was that sideline fellow who panicked when asked to help. But sometimes, he was so focused on trying to give out medical help that he kind of was able to lose his fears.
He looked down with a flattered smile. "Thank you. It is debated on what the name means. Some people say majestic, others say venerable. I guess I can be a little bit of anything the name means. Or maybe I'm neither. You're quite nice yourself and I bet you have a bit of warrior within you. Everyone does. But you seem stronger than your appearance gives way."
