WHO: Kori and Brandon. WHAT: Setting things straight. WHEN: January 22. WHERE: Grand Central Quarantine. RATING: TBD, probably medium at least. STATUS: In progress.
Kori was still fairly annoyed. Alghren? Honestly just because he didn’t like Rae didn’t mean he had to refer to her by last name. It was obnoxious. Still she had to admit that it was better than other things he could have called her. He probably only used her last name out of respect for Kori anyway. And that was a thought that made Kori pretty ticked. His efforts to spare her, Kori assumed were sincere, but giving Rae that tiny amount of grudging respect just because he was talking her made her want to hit him. If he was going to be a dick about one of her friends he could at least have the decency to pretend that it wasn’t nearly as bad as it actually was.
Still she paced her room as she waited for Brandon to join her. She’d kicked Leah and Michael out and of the two Michael had been the easiest to get to leave. He still understood that sometimes there were things that she was going to talk to her siblings about that she didn’t want him around to hear or see because it was Stone specific.
Leah had been a little harder. But she’d managed it after awhile with a bit of convincing. Kori was still trying to figure out how being quarantined made Leah do a complete one-eighty with her actions towards Kori but it was nice not being on the receiving end of Leah’s glare anymore.
She heard the door open and Kori stopped pacing, “You’re late.”
