"Nah, you're never too old," Rodeo laughed, getting up to stand again and tucking his gun down the back of his jeans. "I do voices and everything." He already read to some of the kids in the library when he was bored, and they all seemed to get a kick out of the different voices and accents he put on for each character in the story. He doubted Scotty could be all that different.
"C'mon. Let's get back, I ain't findin' what I'm looking for today anyhow. Gonna get dark soon." Rodeo definitely didn't want to leave Scotty out here in the dark, knowing how active the infected were at night. Rodeo wondered how many nights the boy had spent in the overrun city on his own.
