WHO: Liam and Noah WHAT: Noah somehow gets convinced to leave the safe house, terrible things result WHEN: Forward dated to 3 Jan. 2018 WHERE: Grand Central, then wandering RATING: TBD STATUS: In progress.
Noah had a particularly bad nightmare dogging him since he woke up this morning, and it left him with a general feeling of dread and unease. He never usually liked to let his dreams carry into the rest of the day, and he wouldn't have even remembered it if something that had happened in his dream occurred maybe ten minutes after he had woken up. Granted the event wasn't particularly unusual and it wasn't unlikely to see people wearing the same clothes every week because they no longer had the luxury of ever-expanding wardrobes, but it was just too coincidental.
He had wanted to talk to Miles about it, but he didn't want to trouble his brother with his rampant paranoia, so he just decided to take a walk around Grand Central, hoping to clear his mind in the process.
The dream had started off innocently enough, just him waking up and carrying on, but it was interspersed with the infected dog that had attacked him, how he was seconds from getting bitten and the leapers that had come down on Ewan and Olivia. But Noah's dream didn't follow the proper course of his history and suddenly, he had been attacked. He was bitten, cruelly attacked and then he was in the middle of NYU and his brother was standing in front of a building. Noah was running, muscles screaming, his voice dead. Miles was just standing there and Noah was terrified that he was running towards an infected, but Miles was screaming and trying to get away and that's when I hit him. Noah was infected and he was tearing his brother's throat out. It was horrifyingly graphic and he woke up screaming.
He had felt really awful about it, mostly because he's had the same nightmare every night since December 30th. The only difference between each dream was the way that Miles had reacted in the dream, and one of them had Cassie in it. Each one was violent and bloody, and Noah couldn't stop himself once he started attacking and he couldn't wake up either. One night, a few days ago, the dream had been so bad that when he had woken up, he couldn't even move he was so terrified. And every morning, he examined his brother, just to make sure that he was still alive and checked all over himself for bite marks. He couldn't find one, but he nevertheless spent at least and hour or two worrying himself over the possibility, but letting the mightmare go until the next morning.
That was until something in his dream had happened this morning and now Noah was afraid that he was psychic or something, that he had foreseen his own death and the murder of his brother.
So this morning found Noah walking aimlessly all over the Station, trying to find someone that he could talk to, but everyone seemed busy or ignored him when he walked up to him, so he continued to walk around searching for something to take his mind off his nightmare, or premonition or whatever it was.
Then Noah thought he spotted someone he didn't recognize as a regular in Grand Central. He walked over purposely and sincerely hoped that this guy wouldn't blow him off like everyone else.
