Re: Liam and George
Any bloke who was attracted to a woman would be guilty of scanning over someone who was as well dressed as the stranger. He ate at his ice cream and let his eyes enjoy the view for a moment before he realized saying something might be in his best interest. He would at least give himself a pat on the shoulder for not being all too obvious. Just his bright blue eyes did the maneuvering, the rest of himself stayed neutral.
He glanced at the dancers, smiling somewhat at a pair who were drunk and dancing as if they were about to tip over. Some just danced like they were on fire, movements nowhere near with the beat of the music. But the point was they were having fun. It would have been somewhat depressing if everyone was staring at a blank dance floor acting like they were in high school searching for a dance party. The end of the world brought out the "what the hell" in people and he supposed that was quite a nice thing.
"I almost didn't come since I was somewhat far away. But many people were talking about it on the forum thing, so I decided what the hell?" He still couldn't believe there was the intranet. It was a godsend since there was no need to travel and guess where some goods might be. It was also refreshing to go on scouting missions with other people. It felt safer, better.
"If you kind of think about it, you could kind of forget about the shite storm going on outside. But at the same time, if you allow yourself to be in denial about it for even just a night, you could get yourself killed. I feel like we always have to be on guard." He realized that he was going on and didn't even introduce himself. "I'm Liam, by the way."
