Re: Liam and George
George was still more than a little shocked that she was even at the party. She'd gone into asking thinking she'd get a no from her brother anyway and then he gave in so easily. And here she was wearing a lovely little silver number that Rae had been willing to part with. There were a couple other's she'd be taking back to Grand Central tomorrow.
She'd started out on the dance floor at first. Taking the opportunity to enjoy herself. Or at the very least to enjoy dancing with other people. She had stayed out there for a while and then a song came on that she absolutely hated. She could use a break anyway. Her feet were starting to hurt in her heels. It probably would have been smart to have a pair of flats on hand just in case but she'd suck it up. It was sort of like breaking in a new pair pointe shoes. She was just sampling some canned cheese on a cracker when someone spoke to her.
"No it's actually pretty nice." She admitted glancing out at those still dancing. It wasn't exactly what she expected but it wasn't worse either so that was always a good place to start. "It's a nice distraction." She said feeling a little more conversational that usual. It probably had something to do with the atmosphere but she was feeling sort of chatty as opposed to frigid and wishing to be left alone.
