She gave an exaggerated sigh. "Fiiiine. Wouldn't want his head going all explodey and you being forced to clean up the mess. Just gives further proof that our skills for making guys blush haven't faded." Besides, there would be plenty of opportunity for her to see how many times she could make David blush at the New Year's Even party. Maybe it would turn into a game. Certainly not a mean-spirited one, but a fun activity nonetheless.
"Strippers are the exception," she corrected herself, grinning at her friend's indignant reaction. "Especially when they're very talented strippers named Rae." Allie knew well enough that Rae had mainly been in it for the dancing, but the money was probably a very good incentive to stick with it. Had her own success not been quite up to par, Allie would've seriously considered entering the exotic dancing ring. "Something colorful, definitely." Rae always looked her best when she was shrouded in bright colors.
Although she wasn't a stranger to diet and exercise, Allie had never been a huge fan of working out, nor did she make it a point of focusing on flexibility. Back in the day, it had been mostly about the treadmill and maybe a little bit of Pilates, but she'd mostly rushed through it. Did enough running and stretching to keep her toned. Maybe if she'd shown more of an interest in weight training and flexibility, she wouldn't feel as inadequate. A wimpy girl, that was what she was.
Allie chuckled at her friend's expression of jealousy. "You could probably find a Playboy bunny costume somewhere. And, if the fancy ever strikes you, maybe one day you can make the journey to Los Angeles. See if the building's still standing. Maybe shoot some Playboy bunny zombies." She shrugged.
"Why? What happened with Kori?" She hadn't heard anything about what Rae was talking about.
