"Good morning," Ellie replied, tone customarily level. "I'm glad."
Her head disappeared back up over the edge of the table, replaced by a pair of small feet as she swung her legs over. Standing up was a little wobbly, but Eloise was feeling better already, so long as she kept her gaze away from the windows. The sun was glinting off of new snow: already melting, but still horribly bright.
She kneeled to get a better look at O'Brien, expression amused. "You did fall asleep. I think... After me? I'm not sure." The night wasn't a blur exactly, but it had certainly gone fuzzy at the edges -- much like Ellie in general.
"We shouldn't have taken those pills," she told him. "That was sort of dangerous."
