"Yep, pretty much. Who would have thought that their strategizing for this sort of shit would have paid off?" Or at least, she guessed that it had. If the army of nerds wasn't already dead. She didn't imagine that running around in trench coats and heavy duty Nerf guns was all that helpful when put face to face with actual zombies. Sarah ran a hand through her hair, blowing her bangs out of her eyes right after. It wasn't so weird sitting and talking to David. What did make it sort of weird was the way he looked sometimes...like her being there freaked him out or something. "Probably. Damn, sometimes extremists have all the luck."
Apparently she didn't know her stuff about exorcisms. Not that surprising, though. She wasn't all into ghosts like he was. "...huh. Well, clearly I don't know the rules about these things. The only ghosts I've seen are those loser teenagers who go trick-or-treating with sheets over their heads. They didn't get exorcisms, though. Just punches to the arm." And that was her brand of exorcism. What better way to get rid of something than to punch it? "So the ghost in the book is crafty?"
