She didn't mean it like that. It was just some people didn't seem to care much now that things weren't as easy as they used to be.
Biting her lip Kori nodded. She probably should have thought about it a lot sooner than sitting here with a medic telling her she should have done it. Usually she was pretty good with forethought. Well maybe that was a stretch, sometimes she just did things but if the counter argument was sound she was likely to reevaluate her own opinions. It kept her out of trouble before. "I will don't worry. I am trust me. Not falling in saved a couple lives, or that's what my sister would like everyone to believe."
"I do." She said with a smile and slight nod. "Yeah that would be me. She's probably worried sick since I haven't met up with her yet." Leah had pretty much put the fear of god into Rae. Well sort of. It had seemed that way to Kori. And Leah was just overreacting. Kori didn't end up going for a swim or anything like that. The only injury she'd gotten was her own fault no failure on anyone else's part.
She was decidedly one of those people that wasn't comfortable with undressing. At least not for strangers. She had been perfectly fine with it for her ex-finace obviously. "Tempting offer from the guy making sure I don't end up with an infected cut or a hundred other things."
Kori hissed as the alcohol made contact with the open wound. This was always the part she hated no matter how necessary. Except then he was telling her she needed stitches and she could feel the color drain from her face as she stood slowly once Elliot cleared a spot for her to sit. She hated needles of the sharp and pointy medical variety more than she hated blood. "Oh joy." She said flatly sitting down on the exam table.
