It did help her relax a bit. Knowing she wasn't the only one that was prone to slipping now and again definitely made this whole situation a little more bearable. "Well apparently some people are just lazy." She said with a sigh.
She smiled and nodded. Apparently word got around fast that she was coming in today. She tilted her head thinking for a moment, had anyone offered to help her? She couldn't remember but it was entirely possible she'd had a classic blond moment and spaced out while they were asking and just blew off the offer entirely. "I don't know. I might have spaced out about halfway across the river." She admitted glancing at the bandages and gauze he set on the table.
It really wasn't that comforting it. The action brought to mind the time Leah had to tell her that one of her favorite toys had gone missing and was likely never to be found. It had been a very traumatic time losing Mr. Cuddles. But she nodded in understanding all the same.
Her cheeks heated when he said she needed to take off her pants. She'd sort of expected it but she couldn't stamp out the embarrassment. Yeah it was purely medical and she doubted he'd do anything and if he did well she had a gun toting ex-cop that would come running because her sister's threat of death to anyone that let anything bad happen to Kori was pretty scary. "Uh, okay..." Awkwardly she stood and undid the button on her pants and slid them down her hips and off as quickly as she could. Better to get the awkwardness over as fast as possible. She sat back down her pants in a heap off to the side of the chair. "It isn't bad is it?" She asked resolutely staring the wall across from her.
