Yeah she'd noticed that between the pipe and loosing her footing. And she was still bleeding and that was a little unnerving. People weren't supposed to bleed this long, usually it tapered off after a few minutes. "Yeah I noticed that coming up." She murmured with a sigh.
"I tripped. Apparently carrying six bags of knitted items and walking a pier don't go very well together. And someone left a broken pipe or dropped it and forgot it and I cut myself somewhere between falling and rolling over." She explained. The cut itself was sort of in an awkward place for her to see how bad it was but she assumed that it must have been deep if it was still flowing nicely.
She felt like such an idiot. It stood to reason he'd heard stories of people doing dumber things to get injured but she still felt like this was pretty pathetic. If anything she was proving the blond stereotype to be alive and well in the apocalypse. She wasn't even that stupid she just hadn't paid attention, which was sort of stupid admittedly.
"Not to rush you or anything but I'm still bleeding and that sounded obnoxious, but usually I've stopped by now and I don't do well with blood." He had asked to tell him what happened and this seemed like one of those things that was sort of important to point out. At least if wanted to keep her from passing out. Because she would, she was quickly coming up on her limit when it came to just feeling the blood under her fingers.
