"I thought so," she smiled almost somewhat proud of herself for making note of it. Granted anyone could have accomplished it, after all the accent was a dead give-away. Still, Emily felt some sort of pride for realizing it. "Nice to meetcha as well." She flashed him a smile. "I speak to your brother on occasion." Emily shrugged her shoulders. "You would think it was your sister, considering she is near my age right?" Emily asked curiously, hoping she had got it right. She had spoke with Evan, but not really at great length about his siblings. "But yes, best to at least get to know most of the people in the safe house." Emily didn't exactly abide by this thought, but she could see the appeal. Social people probably would thrive to a point in this sort of environment. Of course any social experience probably was not conducted under these sort of conditions as nobody was expecting a zombie apocalypse. Nobody expects that.
"Oh, chess!" She exclaimed with some sort of excitement. "Would love too. It has been ages since I played." She was quite serious about that. Emily was thirteen when this whole ordeal happened and she had not thought to pack her chess set to go on vacation. When one was going to Disneyland you didn't take a chess set. She was no looking forward to this idea of playing chess. Emily had been pretty decent at the game for her age, but she had a strong suspicion she wasn't going to be that good now.
"Nope, not at all." She said getting up making sure she had everything together. "It is just me these days, my brother is an Immune but I haven't seen him in a while." Emily really didn't want to think about it. "He said he had to go to another safehouse, but he should be back." Emily was trying to be hopeful that her brother was going to be back and they would have a wonderful reunion. "So lead the way."
