"I bet you'd be an elbower and a cover hog, anyway," Ty said, his tone just as deadpan. "Ledger sleeps like a rock most of the time." He was honestly surprised at how much he enjoyed the little guy's company, and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing. Getting too close to people bothered him, although he hadn't minded with Bea. They'd just clicked somehow. Maybe he was secretly afraid he'd let others down if he let them in, or some shrink shit like that.
Ty didn't comment on what she said about Brandon, but he was amused by her reaction. He didn't know if he believed her on the whole nothing going on thing, but he didn't push it.
"It'd look weird to have a bed in here," he said. "'Less it's one of those beds that doubles as a couch. I forget what the damn things're called." Even if they did put a bed in Bea and Vienna's apartment for him, he'd keep the cell, too. If he ever got lucky, which he was beginning to wonder about, he'd need a place of his own. Or if he just wanted his space, which happened sometimes. Ty liked having options.
