“Okay,” Ledger gave a little shrug as he spoke, accepting Noah’s answer easily enough. Being a child, it wasn’t like he was prone to over thinking what adults told him. Plus he was way more focused on talking about his costume now. “Spiderman is awesome! He’s better than Batman and Superman.” The three year old exclaimed with all the conviction that came with being three years old and believing wholeheartedly in what you were saying.
He was already at the swing set by the time he realized his mama and Noah were taking way longer than he was. Turning around to look at them, Ledger placed his little hands on his hips and called. “You are moving too slow!” With an impatient tone in his voice and an expression that clearly read ‘hurry up!’.
Vienna scoffed at Noah’s words, laughing softly as she replied. “Of course you are,” fully aware that Noah was in fact joking about that. “It is, but I fear admitting that because it may inflate your ego.” She teased, her gaze flicking over to her son who was now calling for them to hurry up. “No, most of us don’t move as quickly as a three year old,” she agreed. “But try telling that to him.”
With that last comment she began to pull Noah along with her as they moved towards the playset and her son who was not so patiently waiting for them. “Just for our slowness he’s probably going to keep you captive on the playset for awhile.” Vienna warned as they drew closer to Ledger.
