The three year old screwed his face up in thought for a moment when Noah told him what he was going to dress as for the party. “A soldier? Like the ones everyone hates in the city?” The little boy asked. He wondered why anyone would want to dress up as that, but maybe the older man would explain. “I’m going as Spiderman!” Ledger added excitedly, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
Vienna laughed softly at Noah’s reply to Ledger about the swings. He really was being a good sport with her son, letting the three year old decide what they would do. Swinging probably wasn’t at the top of his list of things he might have been doing this afternoon, but she appreciated that Noah was putting in effort to get to know her son.
“Of course not!” Ledger answered as if even the notion of someone being too old to swing was insane. “That would just be silly.” He added as he began to move towards the playground.
Glancing up at him, Vienna smiled softly. “And so humble.” She remarked. “We better get moving or Ledger’s going to come track ups down and drag us over to the playground.”
