"Definitely not," Evan chuckled a little bit. "It makes me a little nervous to think that this is going to be where most of Ana's first memories develop," he pointed out with a little shrug. He pressed his lips together and scratched his head. "I have to say, it's a little odd to be nervous like this. I don't usually get nervous about things like this."
He paused, before adding, "Then again, this is kind of a big deal," with a little chuckle.
Shaking his head no, he shrugged. "I don't think so, no. It's close to us, and all of the larger ones are farther away. The baby's going to be smaller than us, remember? So..." he smiled. "It should be alright. When she gets bigger, we can move her to a bigger, more comfortable room. Or we can knock the wall out and she and Mari can share the room." Something like that.
"At least not alone," he agreed with Leah. With a shrug, he added. "I can imagine between the two of us, we'll spend time in here as long as she is." He worried quietly about how well they'd be able to divide their attention, but he was sure things would work themselves out. They usually did in cases like this. He hoped they would, at least.
He shook his head and smiled at her, walking forward to slide his hand over hers. "Don't apologize, cher. It's better to talk about these things now than have the, all come out later, right?" Quickly, he added, "but I'm sure everything will be fine. We won't let it not be fine."
Sliding his hand back down to his side, he leaned over to give Leah a quick kiss on the forehead. "Which one should I start with?" he asked her, offering out the stencils.
