Never having had a strong desire to have a lot of attention, the reason behind Maddie’s frequent hair color changes hadn’t been obvious to her, not until the other girl pointed it out. “Oh,” she answered, pausing for a moment as she thought that over. “And you want to be noticed for your hair?” Again, maybe it was an obvious question, but she wondered if there maybe was something else Maddie would rather be known for or get attention with. Part of her didn’t expect the other girl to reveal that, though.
“Or make a post on the network,” she supplied, forgetting the fact that this was supposed to be a debate of sorts. It was all just a bit of a funny discussion, a way to pass the time – so it probably wasn’t the end of the world that she hadn’t argued against Maddie’s point.
Screwing up her face for a moment, April laughed. “I was always awful at pin the tail on the donkey,” she remarked. “After the spun me around I always ended up falling over.” It was a random comment, but she was nothing if not a bit on the random side. By now it wasn’t much of a secret that her brain functioned differently than a lot of people’s and April had stopped being bothered by that a long time ago.
“Sure,” April answered, agreeing with Maddie’s suggestion on a point system. The whole point of the game wasn’t really the points anyway, or it wasn’t the point she was focusing on. “So if that’s how we’re scoring, at this point I’m in the lead.” She remarked with a smirk, her tone friendly as she waited for Maddie to take her turn.
