Miah, Ty and Noah
Conversation wasn’t something Miah expected, so when the man next to him inquired about his remark, he was only momentarily taken off guard. “Nah, chaos and mayhem began a long time ago,” he answered, only glancing over at the man for a moment before focusing back on the task at hand. “Just our foray into liberating ourselves from this outside threat.” Where his opinion stood on this he still wasn’t sure.
His motives for being present here was complicated. Or maybe not, after all he wanted to do something reckless – something to drag his mind away from everything else swirling around in his life at that current moment.
Better than pills. He thought. Part of him still wanted to push whatever it was he had seen out of his mind, brush it off as a dream and nothing else. Deep down though he knew it meant something, he just wasn’t sure what those images were. Could they have been the future?
“Although some could say we’ve all been trying to free ourselves from a threat since this entire outbreak began,” Miah added. He had only seen the outbreak on the news, hidden away in a rehab center – detached from the world outside. But he still knew what life had been like for the past handful of years.
